Fort Wayne Museum of Art
Spring 2014 Exhibit
This juried exhibit featured 102 works from among the 830 photographs that were submitted by 170 talented photographers from across the country for consideration by nationally respected jurors. I was excited and pleased to be one of the 77 artists selected.
According to the museum's website, "In terms of aesthetic quality, technical innovation, and cultural relevance, contemporary photography has increasingly proven its dominance as a 21st Century art form. This new biennial exhibition, features prominent invited artists and juried entrants with the intention of showcasing the finest work being created or exhibited in the nation."
Below is my photograph that was selected. It's titled "Chinstrap Penguin Rookery" and was photographed in November 2011 on the Antarctic Peninsula.
